Tour de Nac, Nacogdoches, TX
November 13, 2010
This is a hidden jewel for anyone who wants a great fall ride and a weekend get away. Great town with college feel, bed and breakfasts and a downtown with lots of history. The East Texas trees were in full color change and rolling hills made for a great day. 40 mile ride was good roads and 1600 feet of climb. I was told the 68 miles had country roads with old historic wooden bridges and beautiful countryside. I will have this on my calendar again next year.

This was a nice ride in “the oldest town in Texas”. The volunteers were helpful and cheerful. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. The Fall colors were out in full force. Be prepared for hills, though. Screaming downhill thrills and some long grinds back up.
