Little Elm RIP ROARING Charity 25/50 Mile Bike Ride, Little Elm, TX

October 16, 2011

Check in was very easy, no issue with the start, was very informal and went off on 8:00, perfect weather, rode markings were good for the first 9-10 miles, little confusion at the split but someone was there to point in right direction, all was well till going into Aubrey and the split of the 25-50 rides, only saw one marking on the road and took the left as I thought, well then did not see another marking for another 6 miles, thought was going right way but 5 of us stopped and decided we have issed a turn somewhere so back tracked got back to the FM 2931, and rode that back to the school, so the ride ended up at 36 miles so more then 25 but less then the 50, Not sure what happened, and never did see a Sag or support vehicle the entire ride, so that was a bit disappointing, but did not need it, breakfeast burritos at the end were good and hey if was for a good cause.
