Names or E-mails will not be posted unless requested. You don't have to write a paragraph.  One line comments are great. In fact I am getting tired of long tirades.
When you send in a review, be sure to tell me which ride you are reviewing. I have no way to tell.

We are considering a symposium of Ride directors to exchange ideas. If you are interested please contact me at bicyclestuff@gmail.com

Winter is here and once again I enter my plea for suggestions for improvement, criticisms or even compliments. Now while I have a little more time, is the time to improve and/or change. Any ideas? bicyclestuff@gmail.com

Cross Plains VFD Bicycle Tour, Cross Plains, TX

June 13, 2009

The Cross Plains Volunteer Fire Department held its 2nd Annual bike ride. If you want to be pleasantly surprised, check it out next year. Good road surfaces, gentle rollers, attentive sag, eagerly accommodating VFD-manned rest stops make this tour an annual favorite.

June 14, 2008

Cross Plains held its First Annual Bicycle Ride Saturday June 14 in conjunction with its Barbarian Festival held the second weekend each June. The ride choices were 12, 21, 50, 60, and 75.
One can not say enough about the support, rest areas, and volunteers--and personal attention. The rest stops were some of the best stocked of organized tours. All in all, Cross Plains is a great ride, gentle rolling hills, flat stretches, two tough hills—great support and friendly people.
As mentioned, it was the first annual ride. I will be back for the 2ND annual.
