Ranger Wheels for meals, Ranger, TX
April 9, 2005
Great scenery and the routes were on roads where you rarely saw a vehicle. The routes were well marked and the rest stops were well stocked with each having cookies. The school was open for rest rooms and showers and a spaghetti meal was served after the ride. Excellent traffic control and sag.
We would like to thank each and every rider that came out to our event on the 9th, its was a windy day. We hope that every one will be pleased with our event and come and join the fun next year, again thank you !! Bill-Ride Director
April 3, 2004
This was the best value ride I have done for years. Registration
was easy and quick. (No late fee) Routes were well marked, rest stops were well
placed and stocked with fruit, cookies, and drinks. A spaghetti meal was waiting
for riders as they finished. (no extra charge) Roads were in good shape and had
very little car traffic. Several door prizes were given away. The volunteers
were helpful and wanted to know what they could do to improve their event. The
turnout was not large, but this ride has the potential to grow because of the
great riding routes and the helpful volunteers and organizers.
I rode this in 2003 and have to say this is one of the best rides I have done. Everyone was so friendly, routes were clearly marked, spaghetti dinner afterwards were nice. If you haven't been to Ranger, Texas your missing out. Some of the most beautiful scenery and flat out country just cant be beat. I have to work in 2004 so I couldn't attend and am so looking forward to coming back in 2005. Not
a lot of riders the first year but the word will get out and this will be one of the best around. No traffic makes this especially nice. Thanks guys and gals for putting this one on and keep up the good work.
