Names or E-mails will not be posted unless requested. You don't have to write a paragraph.  One line comments are great. In fact I am getting tired of long tirades.
When you send in a review, be sure to tell me which ride you are reviewing. I have no way to tell.

We are considering a symposium of Ride directors to exchange ideas. If you are interested please contact me at bicyclestuff@gmail.com

Winter is here and once again I enter my plea for suggestions for improvement, criticisms or even compliments. Now while I have a little more time, is the time to improve and/or change. Any ideas? bicyclestuff@gmail.com

Pedal Power Wildflower Ride - Stonewall, TX

April 3, 2004

A small ride that should get much larger in a hurry. These people put on an excellent event complete with pre-ride breakfast, post-ride meal/entertainment and everything in-between. Can't say enough good about it.
Start/Finish - Great location at the LBJ State Park Pavilion. Indoor facilities with lots of room for registration, visiting, eating, etc. Could be more parking, but there are fields and road sides if the parking lot fills up (parking will be the only concern as this ride gains in popularity)
Rest stops - located about every ten miles and staffed with very friendly folks from local businesses and agencies. Cookies, fruit, drink, sausage, crackers and cheese were abundant at all.
Sag Support - Very visible all along the route.
Traffic Control - Not much need on this ride (it is very rural, but the support was there if needed). There were also sheriff's cars circling the route.
Routes of 12, 23, 36, and 60 miles. Very challenging. Hills seem to go on forever. 60 mile route goes through the Willow City Loop. Some of the prettiest scenery and wildflowers in the area. Worth the ride just to see this.
