Sunday March 24, 2013 1st Annual LBJ 100 Individual Time Trial Join us for the 1st Annual LBJ 100 Individual Time Trial on Sunday, March 24, 2013 (9:00 AM). Held on the heels of the 6th Annual LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour on Saturday (March 23) of the same weekend, this competitive event complements the Saturday road ride – making it a complete "cycling weekend." The event starts/ends on the air strip of the famed LBJ Ranch near Stonewall, TX.
The event will be limited to the first 300 entries total. There will NOT be any day-of-event registration. When the maximum entry level is reached, prospective registrants are encouraged to place their name on the waiting List. Should an existing registrant relinquish his/her position, the Waiting List will be canvassed by time trial organizers to secure a replacement. Waiting List will be searched in the order in which names are placed on the list, with the objective being to also secure a replacement with the estimated time nearest to that of the registrant relinquishing his/her position.
It will be run over a flat 17-mile scenic route along Ranch Road 1, on the banks of the Pedernales River. Entries will be categorized according to age divisions. Time Trial organizers will have the option to combine divisions, should a particular division not make. Registrants will be asked to predict their finish time for this 17-mile route, in order for organizers to stage start sequence – thereby facilitating an orderly conduct of the event.
Cost of entry is $35. A $10 discount will be offered to Time Trial registrants who have also registered for the Saturday LBJ 100 road event.
Age Divisions, for both Men and Women gender categories: • 10-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 70 and above.
