3, 2004 - Ride for Heroes, Aledo, TX -Routes
of 9, 23, 40, 64 miles, and the 78 mile Moritz challenge (Ride with the Moritz
Chevrolet cycling team if you can!) $25 pre registration/$30 day of ride.
Includes lunch and musical entertainment. This ride benefits the volunteer fire
departments of Aledo, Willow Park and Hudson Oaks and various athletic,
cultural, and academic student organizations. Ride fee includes post ride
"Hamburgers for Heroes" cooked up by the volunteer firemen. Music will
be provided by the Aledo High Jazz Band. Activities include Apple Pie
Contest, Kids Bicycle Safety Rodeo, Kids Play Area, and Hamburger for Heroes
lunch. Ride begins at 8:15am Safety Rodeo at 9:00 a.m. Apple Pie Contest
at 10:00 a.m. Food and Music at 11:00 a.m. (Food will be served until the last
rider is in!) Extremely well supported with sag and traffic control. Rest stops
are put on by student organizations, many feature home made cookies and other

Air Fair & Bike Rally will be held on Friday on Main Street in
downtown Fort Worth between Second and Fourth Streets. Last year’s event drew
more than 5,000 downtowners and more than 100 bike riders rode in the first
Clean Air Bike Rally. The deadline for registering for the Bike Rally is April
