June 2, 2007 - 3rd Annual Comanche Cyclone - Comanche, TX - Rides of 10, 22, 28, 42, 55 & 75 miles . All on paved two-lane farm-to-market roads, and country highways with wide shoulders. The routes have some flat runs, long stretches with gradual inclines, and some hills that could be challenging for less experienced or less fit riders. There’ll be iced water, a cold sports drink, and a variety of snacks available to help “recharge your batteries”. Plus the necessary "relief" facility. June 2, 2007 - The 11th Annual Durant Rotary Magnolia Bike Tour will be held in Durant Oklahoma on Saturday June 2, 2007. Routes are 12, 22, 40 and 60 miles. Cost is $20 in advance, $25 on site. June 2, 2007 - Pedal Power Bicycles Ride for the Cure, Starplex Movie Cinema parking lot, 1250 Wonderworld Drive, San Marcos , TX - A one day cycling event where riders of all levels can choose routes of 10 miles, 30 miles, or 62 miles (100km). These routes are supported from start to finish, with food and rest stops. All riders will receive a t-shirt and a goody bag. The event will raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation Breast Cancer Foundation Austin Affiliate. It is supported by Pedal Power Bicycles and Velossimo Racing Team. $35 pre-registration fee by May 13th. $50 after May 13th until closing deadline Friday, June 1.
