September 16, 2006- Sherman Kiwanis Red River Classic, Sherman, TX 60 mile, 40 mile, 25 mile, or 10 mile course to choose from! Town & country route! Start in Downtown Sherman at NW corner Crockett and Houston.Very popular fall event now spear-headed by the Sherman Kiwanis Club. Great scenic routes. September 16, 2006 - Cotton Patch Classic, Greenville, TX - For the 10th annual OmniSYS Cotton Patch Classic we have joined forces with the Greenville Lion’s Club annual Mini Grand Prix. As riders return from their ride or race they will be entertained with miniature race cars racing through a two block course adjacent to the Courthouse Square. The 2006 OmniSYS Cotton Patch will again have 6 routes ranging from 5 miles to 63 miles. The 5, 21, 31 mile routes are through rolling rural scenic country roads. The 41 and 54 mile routes are more challenging, ideal for the intermediate riders. The Legendary Leonard Leviathons will again be included in the 63 mile route and a challenge the more serious riders. This year we have sanctioned USCF races that will start prior to the tour rides. Following your ride or race we will have shade to enjoy, complimentary food, refreshments and live entertainment for all paid riders.
