October 15th, 2005 - Kiwanis Crazy Kicker, Saturday @ 8:30 am
, Mineral Wells Texas, about an hour west of Fort Worth We are hoping to get 150 or more riders. We truly think this could be your highlight ride of the fall. The distances offer something for everyone. 22, 37, 55, 65 and 100 miles. the 3 longest rides feature Cherry Pie Hill, 6000 feet of riding up a 5 to 8% grade. We give pins to all who complete the hill!! Of course we have the usual good rest stops, sags, support, etc. costs are $20 for
pre-registration, $15 per rider for groups of 4 or more, or $25 if late. See our web site to print a registration page:
www.kiwaniscrazykicker.com or email:
kiwaniscrazykicker@hotmailcom. A few of the things that
I think make our ride a great one is, of course, the incredible scenery (2 lakes and Brazos river), wonderfully friendly volunteers (The Huzzies at the Rest stop), and those homemade cookies that disappear at a phenomenal rate! 100% of the proceeds go to the Kiwanis for programs for youth.
