June 12-17, 2005 - Tour de Kota - South Dakota's 1st Annual Bike Tour Ride ~ 450 miles in 6 days - The tour begins with a Family Ride on Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Yankton and finishes with a second Family Ride at our State Capitol in Pierre on Saturday, June 18, 2005.Thetour features challenging elevation all along the roadways to Pierre, including a 79 mile trek to Pickstown on Monday, June 13th.Cyclistswill head to Snake Creek on Tuesday, June 14th-a 55 mile tour. On Wednesday the tour heads to Chamberlain-about 68 miles. On Thursday, June 16th, an optional 40 mile loop tour will be available or you can enjoy a break in scenic Chamberlain-a fishing in South Dakota. The last leg of the tour will be Friday when the group heads to Pierre for a 103 mile Governors Challenge. Web page
