The Possum Pedal is BACK!!! First Saturday in June - June 1, 2019!!! Graham, Texas. Just 90 miles west of Fort Worth, 60 miles south of Wichita Falls. The Possum Pedal takes you back in time when life was a little slower and everyone greeted you with a smile. This year has routes of 6, 21, 37, 51, 67, and 83 miles, traveling Southwestern Young County, including Graham, South Bend, Eliasville, and Woodson. The terrain is rolling hills, smooth roads, and some of the most beautiful scenery in Texas. It is a great warm-up ride for The Hotter N Hell or a great way to just come out and enjoy a day away from the big city crowd. The Possum Pedal Bike Ride begins at 7:30 a.m. in the historic Downtown Square. Rest stops are plentiful and ride support is strong. Start and Finish line activities include the 5th Annual Food Truck Championship of Texas, live music, fun activities for kids and the entire family, and finish with a concert at the Young County Arena. This year's artists are Randy Rogers Band and Koe Wetzel we are certain this concert WILL SELL OUT!!!! June 1, 2019 – 23rd Rodeo Road Rally, Produced by the Mesquite Rotary Club and Presented by Panera Bread Café of Mesquite This year, the charity fundraiser will start at Mesquite Rodeo Convention Center (at Military Parkway and I-635 L.B.J. Freeway) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Cyclists will have the choice of 24, 40, or 63-mile courses. In addition to the controlled ride, those registering will get breakfast food and a catered lunch from Panera Bread Cafe of Mesquite, Whataburger of Mesquite, and more. The first 1,300 to register will also receive a super-soft ring-spun cotton blend event t-shirt. All registered riders 18 years of age or older will be eligible for a chance to win a prize drawing for a new 2019 Trek Émonda SL 6 Ultralight 500 Series OCLV carbon frame road bike from Richardson Bike Mart. The bike drawing will take place at 12:00 noon on Ride day at the Rodeo Center Exhibit Hall. Riders do not have to be present to win. The winning number will be posted on the Ride's Facebook page. If no one claims it after 48 hours, a new winning number will be posted each 48 hours until the prize is claimed. See Official Rules for complete details. Early registration until May 1st costs only $35.00 for adults and $25.00 for kids age 14 and under. May 1st until ride day, registration costs $40.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids. June 8, 2019 - Tour De Agua, Dublin, TX - (ride for the change) Join the 8th Annual Tour de Agua in Dublin, the Irish Capital of Texas. Four established routes through beautiful, rural scenery. Mostly flat but with a few challenging hills and elevations. Friendly, well-stocked rest stops with all the Dublin Bottling Works craft soda you can drink. Visit shops in town after the ride including Things Celtic, recently relocated to Dublin after twenty years in Austin, TX.
Live music, food options, and family yard games at the finish line. SAG team supported by amateur radio, plus the Air Force Cycling Team is slated to join us this year.
We've eliminated the $5 "late fee", but register by 5/21 to guarantee your t-shirt. Order a jersey by 4/10. See you in June in Dublin!

June 8, 2019 - 9th Annual All American Bike Rally Part Deux "Because we got rained out last year" through North East Parker County benefiting the Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce. We have routes ranging from 6 to 72 miles (6, 24, 52, 72) traveling as far west as Garner, Texas. The ride will begin and end at the Springtown High School parking lot where the riders can shower and enjoy a BBQ sandwich at the end of the ride...compliments of Woody Creek BBQ. The early registration fee is $25 until 4/21/19 then increases to $30 until pre-reg closed 6/6/19. Event day registration begins at 6:30 AM, cost $35.
Group discounts are available for groups of 5 or more. You must call 817- 220-7828 with names of riders in the group for a group code provided by the Springtown Chamber of Commerce.
All riders will also have the opportunity to win gift certificates and cool swag, more details to come.
