Texarkana Resources for the Disabled is hosting their annual charity bike ride event the Ark-La-Tex Challenge on Saturday, April 6th 2019 in Texarkana, Texas. This ride goes through three states in one ride (Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana). It launches and finishes at the same point and we have five different options for routes. Choose your 22, 35, 46, 52, or 70 mile route. We also have a fun kids ride and have bounce houses and other fun kid activities going on so please bring out the entire family. arklatexchallenge.com


April 6, 2019 - Smoking Spokes, Salado, TX is a Texas bike ride event sponsored by the Salado Texas Volunteer Fire Department. 100% of the proceeds go to our department. This is one of our major fundraisers of the year! Expect challenging hills, scenic views, a monster century, well-marked routes, well-manned rest stops, friendly event sponsors and a great feed at the end of the ride. The Salado Volunteer Fire Department is an organization of men and women whose purpose is to protect life, property, and the environment by delivering high quality fire and EMS services to the Salado and surrounding Central Texas area. Sunday, April 7, 2019 - Texas Autism Bike Ride and Fun Run - Georgetown High School Time: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM Location: Georgetown High School - This is our 11th Annual event! The ride begins and ends at Georgetown High School in Georgetown, TX, and benefits the Autism Society of Texas. All proceeds are used to fund programs, promote education and awareness, and provide access to resources for families and adults living with autism in Texas.After January 25th the registration prices will increase to $50 for all bike ride distances and will be $25 for the first person and $10 for additional family members for the Fun Run/Walk. The registration fee includes an event T-shirt as well as lunch after the event and snacks and drinks at multiple rest stops along the routes. It also includes access to the Resource Fair, bounce houses, as well as games and activities! Routes are of approximately 9, 24, and 42, and 68 miles with start & finish at Georgetown High School. All routes pedal through moderately flat terrain interspersed with rolling hills on the eastern side of Williamson County. RIDE STARTS AT 7:30 am with no riders leaving after 9:00 am. All riders must finish by 2:00 pm, so choose a route that gives you plenty of time to finish. The 5K Fun Run/Walk around the grounds of Georgetown High School is suitable for younger children who want to bike, walk, or run. Strollers welcome! The 5K Fun Run/Walk will be a different course this year, with 5 laps around Georgetown High School grounds. The walk and fun run will begin at 10:00 am and the post-event party will follow. April 13, 2019 - Liberty Freedom ride - Liberty, TX - We have routes that are 79, 61, 44, 32, 20 miles. Registration: Register at active.com ( or using the printable registration form on our website Late registration is available onsite from 7:00AM to 8:00AM. Ride packets will be available early at Chili's in Liberty on April 7th from 4 to 6 PM. Packets can also be picked up onsite from 7 to 8AM the day of the event.
All rides begin at the Liberty Center 1829 Sam Houston, Liberty, TX. The 2 mile social ride is for anyone. Other routes have good shoulders and have rest stops every 8 to 12 miles.
SAG wagons and support vehicles will be provided. Rest stops will have fresh fruit, cold drinks, water etc. Rest stops will be manned by fun, encouraging people from the area, you won't want to miss them. Web page - Registration
