June 3, 2017 – 21st Rodeo Road Rally, Produced by the Mesquite Rotary Club This year, the charity fundraiser will start at Mesquite Rodeo Convention Center (at Military Parkway and I-635 L.B.J. Freeway) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Cyclists will have the choice of 20, 42, or 65-mile courses. In addition to the controlled ride, those registering will get breakfast food and a catered lunch from Panera Bread Cafe of Mesquite and more, and a goody bag of gifts from area businesses. The first 1,300 to register will also receive a super-soft ring-spun cotton blend event t-shirt. All registered riders 18 years of age or older will be eligible to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win a new 2017 Trek Émonda ALR 6 Pro road bike from Richardson Bike Mart, or other great door prizes. The bike raffle drawing will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Ride day at the Rodeo Center Exhibit Hall. Riders do not have to be present to win. The winning ticket number will be posted on the Ride's Facebook page. If no one claims it after 48 hours, a new winning number will be posted each 48 hours until the prize is claimed. See Official Rules for complete details. Early registration until May 1st costs only $30.00 for adults and $20.00 for kids age 14 and under. May 1st until ride day, registration costs $35.00 for adults and $25.00 for kids. Ride day registration will be $40.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids. Saturday June 3th, 2017 - Join us for our 8th Annual All American Bike Rally through North East Parker County benefitting the Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce. We have routes ranging from 6 to 74 miles (6, 28, 54, 74) traveling as far west as Garner, Texas. The ride will begin and end at the Springtown High School parking lot where the riders can shower and enjoy a BBQ sandwich at the end of the ride...compliments of Woody Creek BBQ. The early registration fee is $25 until 5/8/2017 then increases to $30 until pre-reg closed 6/1/2017. Event day registration begins at 6:30 AM, cost $35. Group discounts are available for groups of 5 or more. You must call 817-220-7828 with names of riders in the group for a group code provided by the Springtown Chamber of Commerce. All riders will also have the opportunity to win gift certificates and cool sway, more details to come. The Durant Rotary Club's 21st Annual Magnolia Bike Tour will be on Saturday, June 3rd in Durant, Oklahoma (only a few minutes from Grayson County Texas). Registration is open at Web Page - A luminous shirt, lunch, Gatorade and energy bars are part of the registration fee. Come enjoy the enjoyable low-traffic rural roads of Bryan County and have a great time at the famous Magnolia Festival afterwards! The day of the Bike Tour, registration will open at 6:00AM at Carl Albert Park in Durant. There is plenty of parking available. The Bike Tour will begin at 8am. June 10, 2017 - Tour De Agua, Dublin, TX - (Formerly Tour de Pepper) All three rides will launch from the Dublin High School beginning at 8:00AM. Each course will remain on pavement, primarily utilizing scenic and lightly traveled country roads. Distance, more than anything, will determine the degree of difficulty, as each course consists of rolling hills, intermittent flats, and an occasional leg-burning climb. Safety will be given highest priority with traffic control, SAG vehicles, and rest stops at strategic parts of each course. June 10, 2017 - Collin Classic, Oak Point Park in Plano, Texas. Registration for the ride is $45 until May 31 for all distances and $50 after that date. The registration fee includes an event T-shirt, lunch after the ride, snacks and drinks at multiple rest stops along the routes. Routes: The ride offers open-road routes of 17, 30, 40, 51 and 62 miles in length. Beginning at Oak Point Park off Spring Creek and heads east, including an exclusive ride over the Lake Lavon Dam which is normally closed to the public. There will also be a Rider's Village with live entertainment and food and beverages. June 17, 2017 Tour d'Italia, Italy, TX - Benefiting Italy High School, Mother's Against Drunk Driving, and other North Texas charities, the Tour d'Italia enters its 31st year, bigger and better than ever. We expect 1200 riders to earn one of our collector-quality T shirts again this year. If you do not pre-register, you will not be guaranteed a shirt.
