March 18, 2017 - Just Ride for a Just Cause is an MS150 Recommended bike ride on the west side of the Greater Houston Metropolitan area. It will take place on March 18th, 2017 starting at 8:30am. The ride starts at Simonton Community Church, 9703 FM 1489 Simonton, TX. We have something for everyone, a short family scenic ride for the less experienced to a longer more challenging ride for the serious rider, with multiple routes in between. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Proceeds support Passion for Humanity whose mission is to increase awareness of and offer support for victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in the greater Houston Area. March 25, 2017 - Smoking Spokes, Salado, TX is a Texas bike ride event sponsored by the Salado Texas Volunteer Fire Department. 100% of the proceeds go to our department. This is one of our major fundraisers of the year! Expect challenging hills, scenic views, a monster century, well-marked routes, well-manned rest stops, friendly event sponsors and a great feed at the end of the ride. The Salado Volunteer Fire Department is an organization of men and women whose purpose is to protect life, property, and the environment by delivering high quality fire and EMS services to the Salado and surrounding Central Texas area. March 25, 2017 - Beauty and the Beast Bicycle Tour 2017, Tyler, TX - Produced by the Tyler Bicycle Club, sponsored by Kiepersol Estates, and benefitting Bicycle Advocacy of East Texas and The East Texas Trails. Enjoy the Beauty of East Texas rolling hills and finish with a very challengbicyclestuff@gmail.coming climb up "The Beast" on one of the most popular bike tours in the country. Tour course closes at 3:00 pm. All routes include "The Beast" so train well! Pre-registration is $35.00 through March 20th (postmarked mail). Online registration closes at midnight on March 17th.
