Magnolia Bike Tour in Durant, Oklahoma will be held Saturday June 4th, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. Options include 22 Miles, 40 Miles, 60 Miles, 75 Miles, and 90 Miles. Entry fee is $25 for individuals and $30 for tandem/duo. Registration after 5/14/16 is an extra five dollars. T-shirt provided. Payment can be via check or paypal. This ride is associated with the Magnolia Festival, which you can attend after the bike ride – featuring many vendors and amusement rides. Start and Finish is at Carl Albert Park in Durant. June 4, 2016 - 20th Annual Rodeo Road Rally, This year, the charity fundraiser will start at Mesquite Rodeo Convention Center (at Military Parkway and I-635 L.B.J. Freeway) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Cyclists will have the choice of 20, 42, or 65-mile courses. In addition to the controlled ride, those registering will get breakfast food and a catered lunch from Panera Bread Cafe of Mesquite, Whataburger of Mesquite and more, and a goody bag of gifts from area businesses. The first 1,300 to register will also receive a super-soft ringspun cotton blend event t-shirt. All registered riders 18 years of age or older will be eligible to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win a new $2,500 Trek Emonda SL 6 Road Bike from Richardson Bike Mart, or other great door prizes. The bike raffle drawing will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Ride day at the Rodeo Center Exhibit Hall. Riders do not have to be present to win. The winning ticket number will be posted on the Ride's Facebook page. If no one claims it after 48 hours, a new winning number will be posted each 48 hours until the prize is claimed. See Official Rules for complete details. Early registration until May 1st costs only $30.00 for adults and $20.00 for kids age 14 and under. May 1st until ride day, registration costs $35.00 for adults and $25.00 for kids. Ride day registration will be $40.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids. This year we are offering seven routes - from a short 6 mile ride for beginners or those just looking for a nice quick ride to a full-length 79 mile ride for those wanting to stretch their legs and push their limits. After your ride, put away your bike and enjoy an afternoon strolling around America's Largest Downtown Square where food trucks from across Texas and beyond will compete for bragging rights and a $10,000 grand prize in the Second Annual Food Truck Championship of Texas! Come join us for the 6th Annual All American Bicycle Rally through North East Parker County benefiting the Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce. June 11, 2016 - Collin Classic, Plano, TX - The 25th anniversary brings a new home to the Collin Classic this year - originating from Oak Point Park & Amphitheater in Plano. The fantastic route picks up where the old Wild Ride route went, heading east over the Lake Lavon dam and back. Route distances include 62, 50, 40, 30 and 20 miles. June 11, 2016 - Tour De Agua, Dublin, TX - (Formerly Tour de Pepper) All three rides will launch from the Dublin High School beginning at 8:00AM. Each course will remain on pavement, primarily utilizing scenic and lightly traveled country roads. Distance, more than anything, will determine the degree of difficulty, as each course consists of rolling hills, intermittent flats, and an occasional leg-burning climb. Safety will be given highest priority with traffic control, SAG vehicles, and rest stops at strategic parts of each course. June 18, 2016 Tour d'Italia, Italy, TX - Benefiting Italy High School, Mother's Against Drunk Driving, and other North Texas charities, the Tour d'Italia enters its 31st year, bigger and better than ever. We expect 1200 riders to earn one of our collector-quality T shirts again this year. If you do not pre-register, you will not be guaranteed a shirt. Camping is available outside at the high school and in the air-conditioned gym the night before the ride. Routes from 12 to 63 miles appeal to the entire family.
