November 8, 2014 - Tour de Gruene, Gruene, TX - 35 to 65 mile routes. Also have Time trials later in the day, and Sunday. The 2013 tour 65 miles course was modified from previous years. My garmin indicated a total 4400 foot ascension. GREAT RIDE. But the best part comes after the ride. The Wurstfest, which you receive tickets to in your registration pack. There you will find live german music, and great food, and don't forget the beer. If you haven't gone, you've got to try this at least once. I look forward to this ride all year. When I tell people about it, they always come back to me and thank me for letting them know about the Tour De Gruene! Roads are in great shape, and well marked. When you pick up your pack, you can buy t-shirts/posters from previous events, also they have plenty of health bars to load up on before the tour. Great ride! - Web Page -
