June 5, 2010 - 5th Annual Comanche Cyclone - Comanche, TX - Rides of 10, 22, 28, 42, 55 & 75 miles . All on paved two-lane farm-to-market roads, and country highways with wide shoulders. The routes have some flat runs, long stretches with gradual inclines, and some hills that could be challenging for less experienced or less fit riders. There’ll be iced water, a cold sports drink, and a variety of snacks available to help “recharge your batteries”. Plus the necessary "relief" facility. June 12, 2010 - Second annual Tour de Pepper will be held Saturday, , in beautiful Dublin, Texas. Rides begin at 8am and we have three routes: 9 miles, 34 miles, and 62 miles. Riders get a t-shirt, snacks, and all the FREE Dublin Dr. Pepper you can drink. Top three male and top three female riders on each route receive a commemorative bottle cap and a free case of Dublins. June 12, 2010 - All American Bike Rally, Springtown, TX - held in conjunction with Springtown War Memorial Association's All American Fair. The bicycle routes are 10 miles, 28 miles, 54 miles, 68 miles and 74 miles.Our ride will take riders south and west on county roads with minimal traffic and nice rolling terrain. Riders will only have to cross major roads (920, Zion Hill Rd) and will travel for short distances on FM 113 and FM 52 from Garner to Whitt. The ride will begin and finish at the Springtown High School Parking lot (915 W Highway 199, Springtown, TX 76082-2618). Start time is 7:30 for the 74, 68 and 53 mile riders. We also have routes of 10 and 28 miles which will start @ 7:45. Sandwiches will be provided by Woody Creek BBQ at the finish. Early registration is $25 and registration at the event is $30.
