September 19, 2009 - Texas Farm Bureau Cotton Patch Challenge, Greenville, TX -Cotton Patch will again have routes of 21, 31, 41, 56 and 63 miles. The 21, 31 mile routes are through rolling rural scenic country roads.- Our t-shirts this year are dry weave material instead of the traditional 50/50 cotton & polyester. We will have onsite showers thanks to the Texas Baptist Men. We again will have fresh fruit smoothies and sandwiches following the ride with live music from beginning to end along with the adjacent Rally Round Greenville festival. | September 19, 2009 - COWBOY DAYS “HALE ON WHEELS” BIKE RIDE - Hale county Texas - A fully supported recreational ride offering routes of 21, 32, 48, and 62 miles, all on flat, smooth, lightly travelled roads, during "Cowboy Days" celebration. Free Bar-B-Que lunch for riders. Drawing for cash prizes, 1 for $ 250, 2 for $ 100 each, for those pre-registered, and cash awards for first ($ 50) and second ($ 25) place in men's and womens' divisions in the 48 and 62 miles rides. Tote bag, water bottle, and T-shirt for all. Cattle drive, stagecoach rides, homemade ice cream, and other treats.
